DanceMotion Performing Company (DMPC) is a leading youth dance company in the Valley, dedicated to fostering young talent and enriching the community through dance. Since 1987, DanceMotion has provided over 100 dancers, ages 7 to 19, with high-quality training and the opportunity to perform in professionally staged productions. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, DanceMotion’s mission emphasizes outreach, with programs that bring dance education to underserved youth, fundraise for youth-focused charities, and offer scholarships. Fundraising is essential to sustaining these efforts, enabling DanceMotion to continue making a meaningful impact in the community.

OUTREACH
Community Programs
DanceMotion’s commitment to community impact shines through initiatives that make the arts accessible to underprivileged youth. The Annual Matinee Performance offers over 1,000 children each spring a free, high-quality dance experience at the Orpheum Theatre, covering all costs to ensure accessibility. DancIn’spiration, founded in 2002, unites top youth dance companies from across Arizona for a benefit show, donating 100% of proceeds to a youth-focused charity. Over the years, DancIn’spiration has raised more than $400,000 for organizations like the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Sunshine Angels. Additionally, the Partnering Program brings free after-school dance classes to local schools, giving children structured dance education and offering DanceMotion members valuable outreach opportunities. Together, these programs underscore DanceMotion’s dedication to making the arts accessible and impactful for all youth in the community.

Company Show
A unique production where each performance tells a custom-written story through the seamless blend of music and dance. This creative approach engages audiences and offers dancers a rich storytelling experience while performing in a professional-grade setting.
DANCIN’Spiration
A collaborative benefit performance featuring top youth dance companies from across Arizona. This inspiring event not only celebrates diverse dance styles, but has also raised over $400,000 for local youth-focused charities, making a significant impact on the community.
